A&K Masada Review

c7bbb2ab4ec80304ed5b2

www.Airsplat.com was kind enough to give us the A&K Masada . So we thought we would do a review on it. The first thing I noticed when I put this gun in my hands! It was exceptionably light weight. The entire gun is made of high quality polymer, which made it under 6 mounds.  This gun is completely ambidextrous, and for me, a lefty!... WAS GOLDEN. I don't think I've ever fell in love with a gun as fast as I did the Masada.  I don't think this gun is LiPo ready, but I had no problem using one the whole day. I used a LiPo 11.1V in this gun and had no issues. I do recommend using a 9.6V...

UTG M3 Tri-Shot Shotgun

m3l__89944_zoom

Recently, the entire RAINBOW Airsoft Team purchased these shotguns in preparation for Code Red Airsoft's 2011 Halloween Zombie Night. For only $50 dollars, we were a little skeptical on how these things were going to work. In the box, we had: the shotgun itself, one shotgun shell, a sling, and instuction manual. The shotgun feels and appears to be made out of a decent plastic, but still nervous because of the abuse our team put on guns. The shotgun comes in many different styles. It is made with a full stock, collapsing barrel, no stock with a rail system, and shorter barrel. The team decided...

Echo 1- M4 RIS

The Echo 1 M4 was my first higher quality airsoft rifle. Before, I was always using pistols  and spring guns. After deciding to get back into airsoft, I walked into the shop looking for a gun. The owner instantly asked for my price range, and i told him "whatever is cheapest but will allow me to compete with the pros". Right away he pointed at a few different rifles. I picked up a G3, but the owner pointed at some M4's. He sold me on the M4's upgrade capabilities, and ease of replacing parts compared to other guns. As soon as I returned home, I charged up my battery and placed it on the gun....

KWA – KM4 SR7

The KWA KM4 SR7. I picked this bad boy up from Evike.com. Ranger and I took a trip down to San Gabriel, CA to pick out a new gun for myself. My ECHO1 USA SCAR was starting to die and after a year of playing this game it was time for an upgrade. Ranger recently purchased and reviewed his KWA Km4 SR5 (you can watch the video review here). I really liked the look and feel of his gun, but wanted my own individuality. So after 4 hours of going back and forth (Evike staff was amazingly patient and helpful) between some G&G M4 variants I finally noticed the SR7 sitting in the display case. The G&G's...

KWA – KM4 SR5

Christmas came early to my house this year in the form of the new KM4 SR5. Since the launch of the SR series a number of you have extolled the virtues of the SR10 and SR12. The range, the speed, the accuracy, I almost bought one. Instead, I decided to go in a different direction. I already have a high FPS CA LWRC, and what I really wanted was a solid CQB gun. After taking one look at the new KM4 SR5 I decided to go for it. My KM4 SR5 arrived a few weeks ago. Since then I have be taking her through her paces but before I give you the performance data, let's talk about what you get and my first...

AI Crash Impact Tornado Grenade

Airsoft Innovations crash impact tornado grenade. This thing is a beast. Previously, I've used the AI timed tornado grenade and wasn't impressed. A lot of misfires and delayed explosions. This grenade is a very welcomed replacement. From open box to use is about 5 minutes. I suggest watching this video on instructions about how to maintain your grenade to give it the long life it deserves. Ok, so... The grenade's firing mechanism is completely different from previous tornado grenades. This one will detonate on impact (hence the name). From experience, it detonates without fail on the first...

My ECHO1 Scar

When I first got into the game of airsoft, I was a complete noob. I had no idea what a good AEG was, what an FPS meant, or where even to play a real game. After playing with a friends Echo1 MP5, I decided I wanted to get my own gun and start laying waste to some of my friends. I went to the closest airsoft supply store (http://www.steelhawkairsoft.com/) and decided to pick up a gun. Once I got there I was greeted by a 20-some year old who was eager to help me find what I was looking for. I said, "I want something for a beginner, but able to keep up with the pros... oh yeah, and doesn't need a loan...
