Hey guys, Ranger here. I'm going to squash the latest controversy between the two most leading and competitive weapon systems around in airsoft to date. The Airsoft Electric Gun, and the Gas Blow Back Gun. The two most sought after weapon systems in airsoft. Im going to start out with the pro's and the con's between the two types of weapon systems. First on the list, is the GBB system. This weapon system is the more realistic of the two. With a full metal body, its weight often resembles the real deal. As you fire this weapon you will immediately feel the realism by the blow back system....

Ok, when I started playing this game, I was hooked because of the tactics, teamwork, awesome guns and most importantly... being able to shoot those guns at my friends without hurting them (too much). It was the idea of competition and "out playing" the opponent that really intrigued me. The more I got into airsoft, the more I started to see that my mindset was a minority. After playing at fields and talking to a lot of airsofters, it seems that this game is more about the look and feel as opposed to the game itself. Here is a great quote I found on an airsoft forums...
"What or who are the best...

The Echo 1 M4 was my first higher quality airsoft rifle. Before, I was always using pistols and spring guns. After deciding to get back into airsoft, I walked into the shop looking for a gun. The owner instantly asked for my price range, and i told him "whatever is cheapest but will allow me to compete with the pros". Right away he pointed at a few different rifles. I picked up a G3, but the owner pointed at some M4's. He sold me on the M4's upgrade capabilities, and ease of replacing parts compared to other guns.
As soon as I returned home, I charged up my battery and placed it on the gun....

Most people ask me, "Hey Ranger, why do you teach military tactics in airsoft, its just a game?" The truth is, the only difference between airsoft and real life is that were shooting .20's instead of 5.56 down range. Everything that has to do with airsoft is distinctly interlaced with military tactics and discipline. Support by fire, bounding over watch, and even proper gear is detrimental to success on the battle field. I personally believe that most airsofters don't have the proper training on how to be successful every time they go to war. Thats why Rainbow and myself have made it our personal...

After wasting an entire Saturday at a paintball park pretending to be an airsoft field (that review will soon be posted), we decided to head up to Desert Fox for one of their Sunday pick up games. Watch our game play video of this day here.
This was our first time out there. We've heard a lot about it from friends, other players, and the occasional flyer that is in your way while you're trying to look at the pistol under the glass, but no hands on experience.
We looked at the location on a map and then had a collective *gasp*. I won't sugar coat this one... it's out there (the majority...

The KWA KM4 SR7.
I picked this bad boy up from Evike.com. Ranger and I took a trip down to San Gabriel, CA to pick out a new gun for myself. My ECHO1 USA SCAR was starting to die and after a year of playing this game it was time for an upgrade.
Ranger recently purchased and reviewed his KWA Km4 SR5 (you can watch the video review here). I really liked the look and feel of his gun, but wanted my own individuality. So after 4 hours of going back and forth (Evike staff was amazingly patient and helpful) between some G&G M4 variants I finally noticed the SR7 sitting in the display case. The G&G's...
