I just thought I would share this email. It’s always good to hear that our team is helping inspire the airsoft community. We feel very blessed to be where we are today and we try to be good examples of how airsoft teams should function and play. If you have similar stories, let us know! We love hearing from the community! Thanks everyone.

Dear Sirs,

My name is XXXX and I am from Manila, the Philippines. I am in the process of joining the brotherhood of freemasonry. To forge a stronger bond of brotherhood, my batchmates and I have decided to enter the world of airsoft. While looking for airsoft gun reviews on YouTube I stumbled upon your channel and immediately shared it with my batchmates. Please understand that ours is a group comprised of a dentist, two IT experts, a student, a real estate agent, and a medical transcriptionist (me). We have no military training nor experience but we have learned a lot through your tactical videos, the greatest lesson of which is the value of true brotherhood. My batchmates and I learned that airsoft is not just about grown men shooting BB guns for sport but rather about being responsible for each other, knowing your role, and strong leadership.

I humbly hope that you would somehow find it rewarding that you have inspired a group of people of a different race and ethnicity on the other side of the world. My friends and I along with the support of our masonic lodge are in the early stages of introducing our local community kids to airsoft. We hope to get kids hooked on to the sport and off drugs (in a third world country like mine, we constantly fight against illegal drug trade). All because of a bunch of guys who call themselves Rainbow.

Thank you sirs for inspiring my friends and I. We hope to meet you someday and enlist your aid. Any old stuff you guys may have and plan to throw away may still be of use and of great value to a tiny Asian third world country. We pray that you, your families, and your fans (5,000+ Likes on Facebook and still going!) would continue to be blessed with good health and be kept safe from harm. We especially pray for Casper’s success in college and his future field of endeavor. We tip our hats to you, dear sirs. You truly are heroes.

Sincerely,

XXXX XXXXXX

www.Airsplat.com was kind enough to give us the A&K Masada . So we thought we would do a review on it. The first thing I noticed when I put this gun in my hands! It was exceptionably light weight. The entire gun is made of high quality polymer, which made it under 6 mounds. This gun is completely ambidextrous, and for me, a lefty!… WAS GOLDEN. I don’t think I’ve ever fell in love with a gun as fast as I did the Masada. I don’t think this gun is LiPo ready, but I had no problem using one the whole day. I used a LiPo 11.1V in this gun and had no issues. I do recommend using a 9.6V or less. Looking at the gun, you may think it comes right out of a science fiction novel, but this thing is sexy and dynamic. As a lefty shooter I was manipulating the gun like it was a AR platform. It looks like a SCAR and a M4 made a baby, with Chris Costa, and presto…. The Masada was born. I definitely recommend getting this gun. Yes the A&K is the cheaper of the Masada line. But I would much rather pay $289.99 than $489.99. But if your looking for a LiPo ready gun… go with the Magpul version. If not, the A&K is what you want. Get yours at www.Airsplat.com, and HEY! Tell them we sent you.

Recently, the entire RAINBOW Airsoft Team purchased these shotguns in preparation for Code Red Airsoft’s 2011 Halloween Zombie Night. For only $50 dollars, we were a little skeptical on how these things were going to work. In the box, we had: the shotgun itself, one shotgun shell, a sling, and instuction manual. The shotgun feels and appears to be made out of a decent plastic, but still nervous because of the abuse our team put on guns.

The shotgun comes in many different styles. It is made with a full stock, collapsing barrel, no stock with a rail system, and shorter barrel. The team decided to purchase all the different types.

When it came time to test, we fully loaded the shell with 30 bbs. Each shot from the gun shoots 3 bbs at once, which gives you 10 shots before you have to change the shell ( the whole team bought extra packs of shells). What makes the shotgun special, is the 3 seperate barrels that allow the 3 bbs to shoot accurately in the same pattern every time. The gun shoot very accurate up to about 50 feet, past that the spread on the bb pattern is too great. At the 20 foot range, i found that the spread is ideal, and take a lot of OpFor out at that distance. Obviously the gun also works great up close. The 330 fps also makes it safe for those close quarter engagements.

After getting a lot of use out of the guns, we can safely say that they exceeded our expectations with durability. These shotguns can take quite a bit of abuse, and continue to last a long time. The only problem we had, was when Ranger found his gun exploding after getting caught between a player and a wall while sprinting by (will destroy any gun). For $50, you can’t get more for your money as far as airsoft guns go.

Inexpensive

Lightweight

Hey guys and gals, I’m posting to announce the release of Episode 4 of our YouTube Web Series for sometime this week! It will be a short Episode, we had about two hours to shoot on the film day. Don’t worry, we made up for the length with extra awesomeness. We are working with a legit production company named Resound Productions, so go check them out at resoundproductions.com.

On another note, we are already planning to film Episode 5 on the 1st Friday of November, so we will have that out sometime later that month. Stay tuned!

Well, we just finished episode 3! I will be honest and admit that we didn’t have a fully functioning script, only 1 day to shoot and only 1 person to edit… so needless to say, it didn’t turn out quite how I expected but it’s still a pretty awesome episode! We have already started scripting out episode 4 and let me tell you… AWESOME. It’s going to involve some top notch stunts, footage and airsoft action. The tentative date for the release is the end of October. We’re going to try really hard to release at least one episode a month from here on out.

Well, thanks for reading and hope everyone has a great day!

He is Rainbow’s heavy weapons expert, demolitions expert, and Engineer.

Hiding in buildings will do you no good, DROID will demonstrate his astonishingly accurate Underbarrel Rocket Launcher.

Airsoft has such a wide range of players and it encompasses a large variety of different play styles. Not everyone who likes playing with airsoft guns is going to enjoy long milsim operations, being told what to do by a “commanding officer” or having to dress like a certain branch of the military. Believe it or not, there are some airsoft players out there who love to run around with a group of friends, take on challenging objectives and try to win games.

The Association of Competitive Airsoft

Our team is a perfect example of the latter. We love the challenges that playing against another competent, tactical, fun team offers. If we’re not playing hard, having to change tactics or getting out flanked occasionally then we aren’t having a good time. We enjoy the small team vs. team environment. You can really see what your team can handle and how well you play together as a team. When we play pick up games and local fields, we have a blast but it’s hard to really focus on tactical team play. The Association of Competitive Airsoft offers this on an amazing scale!

Organized match ups with other teams, awesome objective style games that stay true to the game of airsoft, and an honor ranking system so that respect and honor are maintained. Honestly, we don’t care if we win or lose. We know that there will be better teams out there (not many ) and we look forward to the chance to get wrecked by them, watch our footage, adapt and then come back next year to do some work. It’s all a game and the ACA knows that. They seem to be doing a great job at creating another avenue for airsoft players instead of just $400.00 MilSim operations.

They are also community oriented. They understand that airsoft is a community. No matter how, where or why you play we are all in the same “airsoft boat”. They support and encourage people to “Stand up and play” whether it’s a regular pick up game, an ACA season, or a MilSim event. They are growing the community and it’s time that all airsoft players understand that airsoft is getting bigger and bigger so just step aside and watch this amazing game/sport/hobby take off. Be proud that you play and stand up to support the entire community! That’s all.

Rainbow has entered this contest to win an m240B from Echo1 USA. We discussed whether this may be unfair to entries that don’t have as big of a channel, but this will pretty much be our first and last contest. We want to demolish with that thing out on the field!

Gulk and Ranger had the honor of manning the glorious 240 in combat, during their tours in Iraq. They want it back!

RAINBOW airsoft team will be playing at some of our favorite fields out here in southern California from July 15th to July 17th. We will be hitting up Code Red Airsoft, Insight Interactive and Desert Fox: MOUT. You can see the schedule on the home page in the right side column under “Where’s RAINBOW?”.

We’re getting some skirmishes in before the August 27th ACA Expo! We’re stepping up our game and so should you! If you think you can roll with us for the ENTIRE thing… I’ll be pretty impressed. We will definitely label you as a bad-ass and throw a video of you up on our channel… because that’s where bad-asses belong.

Even if you can only stop by 1 or 2 of the places we’re hitting up, let us know! We like getting to put faces to the names we see on Facebook, YouTube, etc.

The fields we are going to are some of the favorites we have out here in southern California. We would have added a couple of others like Warped Ops but the 405 Freeway will be closed that weekend and we don’t want to sit in 8 hours of traffic. Sorry! We will get to that field on the next crazy weekend we have.

Well, we hope to see you out on the field(s)!
